I came to this country when I was five. Grand Rapids is the only home I've ever known. Somewhere along the way I picked up a camera, and I never really put it down.
I was raised on art and cultura. It sits at the center of almost everything I make, usually with a nod to pop culture, and always with a little of where I come from. I'm self-taught across most of it: a camera in one hand, a can or a brush in the other, and a lot of late nights teaching myself the tools nobody handed me.
I don't stay in one lane. I'm a photographer and a videographer, a muralist, and a designer. Some days that means shooting the moments people want to keep: weddings, engagements, events, portraits. Other days it's film, or a wall, or a whole brand built from a blank page. The thread through all of it is the same. Make something honest, make it look good, and make it mean something to the people it's for.

For years I did this on the side, around a day job. This past May, that changed. I lost the job because my DACA renewal got stuck in a backlog that's running months long now. It knocked the wind out of me, and it also made a decision I'd been circling for years. So I bet on myself and went all in on freelance. The most terrifying, best decision I've made.
All of it is rooted in Grand Rapids. This is my city, where I shoot, where I paint, and where I show up for the people in it, alongside the other creatives building here. I'm doing it out in the open now, one post and one project at a time.
